On February 23rd 2022, training on "Drug addiction and Healthy lifestyle" was held in "Gobu Park” residential complex, Lokbatan settlement, Garadagh district within the project titled "Organizing Awareness-Raising Activities on Healthy Lifestyle and Preventive Measures on Substance Abuse at the Community Level” with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The training was attended by 26 people (11 women, 15 men), including parents, upper-class students of the secondary schools operating in the target area, teenagers and young adults.

The training was presented by Emil Magalov, a drug inspector. Mr. Magalov provided detailed information on the types of drugs, use of them, their dangerous and damaging complications, etc., and conveyed knowledge on the given topic to the attenders through fact-based examples.

The parents actively involved in the discussions spoke about the importance of combating drug addiction, which has become a great scourge for humanity in modern times, the necessity for constant public control to prevent drug addiction among adolescents and young people giving a real life examples of drug-related tragedies.

At the end of the training, Emil Magalov, a drug inspector answered the participants' questions in detail.
