Outcomes & Achievements:

2009

  • 24 youth acquired vocational skills through Apprenticeship method;

  • 21  were provided with relevant jobs;

  • Non-food humanitarian assistance items were distributed to 47 840 people. NGOs like "Hayat", "Dayag", "Buta", "Salam", "Komak" and "Taraggi" were involved in distribution of relief items.  

2008

  • 30 youth acquired vocational skills through Apprenticeship method;

  • 5 youth, acquired vocational skills, were provided with grants to start up their businesses and provide their employment;

  • 20 communities participated in a competition on Quick Impact Projects. Projects submitted by 6 communities were financed by Inter-communities Mutual Assistance Fund, and implemented. The project proposals mainly focused on communities’ top priorities, i.e. rehabilitation of potable water line, electric and sewerage lines, repair of schools and social-infrastructure problems;

  • Non-food humanitarian assistance items were distributed to 50 006 people. NGOs like "Hayat", "Dayag", "AIC", "Komak", "Aran", "Eurasian Press" and "Taraggi" were involved in distribution of relief items.  

2007

  • Reconstruction and rehabilitation works were conducted in 6 classrooms and 3 community rooms at Gubadly region's Damirchilar rural school, Fizuli region's secondary school #9 and Kalbajar region's secondary school #1117;

  • Teacher -Parent Associations (TPAs) have been established at each school;

  • 40 youth acquired vocational skills on 11 trades;

  • 15 youth acquired computer skills;

  • Non-food humanitarian relief items have been distributed among 51 123.

2006

  • Reconstruction and rehabilitation works were conducted in 11 classrooms and 4 community rooms at Gubadly region's Khalaj, Ishigly, and Aliguluuashagy rural schools and Jabrail region's secondary school #6;

  • Teacher -Parent Associations (TPAs) have been established at each school;

  • 30 youth acquired vocational skills on 11 trades;

  • 16 youth acquired computer skills;

  • Non-food humanitarian relief items have been distributed among 56 000.

2005

  • Repair and restoration works  were conducted in 13 classrooms and 4 community rooms of Lachin region secondary school #21, Fizuli region secondary school #54. Jabrail secondary school #5, Shusha town secondary school #10;

  • Teachers and Parents Associations were created in each school;

  • 171 community meetings were held (Number of participants: 1838);

  • 74 round tables on 24 topics were conducted (Number of participants: 949);

  • 14 trainings on 5 topics were conducted (Number of participants: 174);

  • 37 IDP youth acquired vocational skills on 12 fields;

  • 15 youth acquired computer skills;

  • 17400 persons were provided with humanitarian relief items.

2004

  • Repair and construction works and provision of appropriate equipment was conducted in 9 classrooms and 4 community rooms of Lachin region Minkend secondary school, Jabrail secondary school #4, Lachin region Safyan rural secondary school, Lachin region Imanlar rural secondary school, and Fizuli region secondary school #40.

  • Attendance was improved in target schools;

  • 146 round tables on 46 topics were conducted in communities (Number of participants: 2503);

  • 30 trainings on 10 topics were conducted in communities (Number of participants: 353);

  • 46 IDP youth acquired vocational skills on the fields of their own choice;

  • 15 IDP youth attended initial computer and entrepreneurship/business trainings;

  • 38596 persons were provided with humanitarian relief items within a year.
