Outcomes Achievements:

  • Awareness-raising activities were carried out in order to provide the communities along Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline with detailed information about alternative energy sources and help communities to find out energy solutions though the «Energy Bus». The people were provided with information about safe and effective usage of energy through demonstration of working models of alternative energy technologies, insulation materials, as well as relevant schemes via the Energy Bus serving as a mobile exhibition;
  • The project helped the communities to extend their knowledge on existing methods and means of cheaper alternative energy production such as water heaters working with simple solar panels, wind energy generators, micro hydro-electric station (hydro devices), sawdust heaters, biogas units for receiving gas, and consultations were provided on insulation of houses and effective usage of energy within the project;
  • 22 training sessions on effective and safe usage of energy resources, energy technologies and insulation works were arranged for the pupils of 9-11th forms of the secondary school;
  • 49 entrepreneurs were provided with consultations on installation of Micro HES, Biogas unit, Solar panel and Sawdust heater;
  • Instructions were provided and insulation works were realized in 23 public objects – 12 schools, 3 hospitals, 2 Municipality rooms, 1 shop, 3 kindergartens, 3 rooms of the local Executive Committee and 1 chemist's.
