After finishing his military service Kamran came to Baku to find a job, and tried lots of occupations until he found the most fitting to his abilities and personal characteristics. He found the suitable job not in Baku, where he was strongly motivated to stay, but in his fatherland.
He went there for vacation and visiting his family & friends whom he missed so much. In one of the conversations with his mates he heard about the apprenticeship courses. As he was not satisfied with the jobs he was engaged in Baku, he thought about applying the courses. He applied to hair-styling trade, without any inclination inside. His father - Galandar was a barber of his community for long years, his son didn’t get interested in the trade. But his genealogy however might have had role in his decision, so as, when Umid HSSC’s officers asked him about the trade he would like to learn, he answered - «.....may be men’s hair-styler».

His infirm decision about selecting the trade didn’t affect his attendance to the courses. He was disciplined, and in a short time-period he gained the respect and confidence of the trade-master and the visiting clients. Day-by-day the trade-master explored his talent and expressed his admiration and estimation to Kamran’s ability. «Your hair-styling ability is coming from your heritage» he said, and these words inspired Kamran to dig deeper and deeper the secrets of the profession. Upon graduation from the courses he got business plan writing training, and wrote a business-plan to set up his business. As per Umid HSSC’s evaluation, the business plan was feasible and viable. Therefore the Community Investment Program» funded by SC provided initial financial support via Jump- Start Economic Project grant covering 365 AZN. His achievements caused his love to the profession. «It is like a mystery, his profession changed my attitude to living in rural community, tied me to my parents, my dear friends, my heritage, but the most important to the work I am proud to master. Thanks to CIP and the trade-master»- these are the words that he is honored to emphasize more than once.
