EENCE-Eduthon-2024 is an important event focused on the development of civil society and the promotion of civic education, held across 6 countries, culminating in Azerbaijan on September 25. The event was organized by the Eastern European Civil Education Association with the support of the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) in Germany and funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the event, various significant projects were presented on topics such as the preservation of cultural diversity, the development of local communities, increasing citizen participation, and solutions to other socially significant problems. Participants shared ideas on how citizens can be more active in the development of society, engage more broadly in solving social issues, and help create a more open and democratic society.

In this context, the "Umid" Social Development Support Public Union also presented their project titled "Empowerment of Community Authority: Discussions and Debates for Democratic Participation." Our team offered valuable ideas for enhancing democratic participation within communities and fostering a culture of debate, gaining significant interest and securing a place among the winning projects.
