On July 3, 2006 an exhibition was arranged in Arts Center of Ganja city named A future craftsman on the way of development within the joint project of Save the Children and UmidHSSC. The goal of the exhibition was to display hand works of apprentices who finished the courses on Apprenticeship component realized within BTC-CIP.

During the event hand works of 14 apprentices (9 dressmaker’s, 2 weaver’s, 2 carpenter’s, 1 welding) were displayed. The exhibition was attended by community leaders and heads of municipalities, city inhabitants and representatives of donor organizations invited in the event. 

In addition to the display of works, certificates were awarded to apprentices and on-the-job trainers active within the program by Nassir Farraj, the Country Director of Save the Children and Rasim Guliyev, the project manager of Umid HSSC. The apprentices and trainers warded with certificates were given presents.

Funds were allocated for 2 apprentices desiring to make their own businesses. Contracts on jump-start economic projects were signed in the amount of 270 AzN. with Nigar Azizova from Nemetabad community of Yevlakh region, desiring to launch her business in Hairdressing field, 254 AzN. with Rahim Abdiev from Khatinly community of Tovuz region, desiring to launch her business in Barber field.

At the end of the event hand works of the apprentices were reviewed.
