On October 10, 2006 ceremonies were arranged in connection with opening the projects implemented by Umid HSSC and Communities within "Zykh Community Development Initiative” project funded by BP Shahdeniz Company within Community Investment Program.

• "Organization of a community center” in Ulduz community

•  "Renovation of the quarter” in Nargila community

• "Repair of Water Pump Station” in Imam community

  The event was attended by leader of Ulduz community and of the other communities and their CAG members, representatives of BP Shah Deniz, Khatai Region ExCom and "Umid” HSSC. The guests were welcomed by Nezaket Alizadeh, the leader of Ulduz community who expressed her gratitude to everybody including community members, BP Shah Deniz and Umid HSSC’s staff members for their role in realization of the projects.

  She marked that owing to this project a wedding & mourning house with capacity of 160-180 seats and a field of 210m2 , will be given for usage by Ulduz community members, and the community fund will increase twice in comparison with 2005 year. 

  Moreover, Ulduz community members who are the main beneficiaries by the project and those of the other communities appreciated the implementation of this project as an estimable activity. 
  The second opening ceremony related with completion of "Renovation of the quarter” project in Nargila community was held at the same date. The guests were welcomed warmly and with a great enthusiasm by community members as well. Zahid Amiraslanov, the community leader noted that implementation of the project mainly aimed at improvement of living conditions of community members, development of community fund and improvement of conditions for entertainment of community members. 
  Next project being celebrated was "Repair of Water Pump Station” project implemented in Imam community.

  Implementation of the project was resulted in improvement of water supply and living conditions of the population in the community.
