This Solar Energy Device consisting of 2 Solar Panels and Batteries has energy power of 3,6 kV. The device helps to supply the water purifier and water pump with energy. Moreover, lightening the surrounding area is taken place via energy produced by this device.
Solar panels have been installed by "Solaris Ltd” LLC.
Solar Panels were installed within demonstration projects component of "Support to Environment and Energy Initiatives” project being implemented under financial support of BTC and SCP Partners.
In conjunction with implementation of "Support to Environment and Energy Initiatives” project, in 40 Kurdamir, Ujar, Yevlakh and Goranboy regions (at the first stage) information were disseminated and idea blanks distributed among community members, and ideas (proposals) on environment, ecology, alternative energy and safety measures were accepted for further implementation of the demonstration projects in communities.
Ideas proposed by communities were assessed with participation of BTC liason officers and at the first stage 10 communities from target regions were identified.
After hearing the opinions of specialists on environment, ecology, alternative energy and safety, 5 communities were selected and demonstration projects on alternative energy production began to be implemented in these communities. The first demonstration project "Installation of solar panels” was implemented in Karrar village community of Kurdamir region.
Exploitation of the Solar rose a great interest of the population inhabiting the area and was greeted by consent of community members and entrepreneurs.
At present, within the project there are being installed some devices such as a biogas device and Solar Heating Panels in Eyvazlilar community of Goranboy region, Solar Heating Panels in Semedabad community of Yevlakh region and in Topalhesenli community of Kurdamir region. Solar Panel to be installed in Topalhesenli community will uninterruptedly provide rural medical point with hot water.
