Activities in a direction of organizing training and consultations, as well as coordination efforts continue within frameworks of "Community-Based Support to Producers of Dairy Products” project being implemented under financial support of USAID, BP and Partners aiming at improving dairy producers’ access to the market and developing their farms in the target communities. For this purpose, "Credit and Appeal for Credit” training was conducted on March 13, 2012 in Nematabad community of Yevlakh region. During the training session, the producers of dairy products received detailed information about essence, importance and types of credit, documents required for receiving credit and rules of appealing for credit. 20 farmers, including 7 women participated in the training session.
Moreover, at the end of the training, a meeting was organized with representatives of Parabank - which provides credit services, in order to improve farmers’ access to finances and form their linkages with loan agencies. During the meeting, the representatives of Parabank provided wide information about their services to the farmers. The questions, interested by the meeting participants, were thoroughly answered by the bank’s representatives. As for the meeting, the farmers are mostly interested in receiving credits being provided under lines of National Fund of Assistance to Entrepreneurship and Agricultural Agency.
