On March 7, 2023, "I Baku International Conference on Environment,
Social and Corporate Management" was held at the "Hilton Baku" hotel.
The event organized by "GEM ESG Consulting" was attended by the
representatives of government bodies, entrepreneurs, academics from
higher education institutions, NGO experts, philanthropists, public
figures, and intellectuals.
The main purpose of holding the
conference is to bring together well-known public figures and experts
with extensive experience working in a variety of fields, and contribute
to the development of a road map for the coming years based on the
discussion of crucial topics on CSR and sustainable development.

Public Union and Member of the Supervisory Board of the State Support
Agency for NGOs, while speaking at the event on the topic of "The role
of NGOs in Responsible Business Conduct Projects", discussed modern
strategies in responsible business conduct and factors affecting it,
main forces directing social responsibility, expectations of NGOs from
business organizations, evaluation criteria of NGOs involved in social
responsibility, sustainable development and social responsibility, and
concepts and plans of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental
Organizations on Responsible Business Conduct.
