An agreement was inked during the 74th International Astronautical Congress held in Baku, at the Exhibition Pavilion, between our partners at "Azerkosmos" and Israel's IAI. This landmark document solidifies a decade-long partnership. Notably, Israel's support will pave the way for the establishment of an innovation center in Azerbaijan dedicated to the space industry. Moreover, plans are underway to introduce a space-focused curriculum in Azerbaijan, mirroring the educational programs of Israel's universities. Our commitment is to nurture enduring collaboration with Azerbaijan and maintain amicable relations with "Azerkosmos." Aviv Kanelbaum, the representative of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), conveyed these sentiments during an interview.
A. Kanelbaum emphasized that our primary objective is to successfully execute ongoing projects and strategize new initiatives within the framework of cooperation and friendship between Azerbaijan and Israel.
Reflecting on the Baku Congress, the company representative underscored the Exhibition Pavilion's pivotal role as an indispensable platform for fostering collaboration, stating, "We take immense pride and pleasure in being the gold sponsor of the 74th International Astronautical Congress in beautiful Baku. It's a delight to be here in this wonderful city. We hold deep affection for our friends in Azerbaijan, and participating in the world's premier space event alongside them in this magnificent Exhibition Pavilion evokes irreplaceable emotions. This event provides thousands of individuals with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the projects and products of leading space companies and potentially acquire them. It's a priceless opportunity for forging new collaborations," expressed Aviv Kanelbaum.
