On January 19, commemorating the 34th anniversary of the January 20 incident, the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan paid a solemn visit to the Alley of Martyrs. The graves of the brave sons and daughters of the Motherland, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, were reverently attended, honoring their memories.

Beyond being a national tragedy, the events of January symbolize the resilience and unwavering determination of the Azerbaijani people. This pivotal moment marked the restoration of our state independence, leading our people to envision their future solely within the bounds of an independent Azerbaijan. Today, the Republic of Azerbaijan stands as a formidable nation, securing its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Just like all our martyrs, the spirits of those who sacrificed on January 20th rest in peace, knowing their sacrifice contributed to the strength and independence of our nation.
