Outcomes & Achievements:
- 124.8 million AzM was disbursed among the groups in the first stage, out of which 119.2 million AzM was repaid by March 24’ 2003. Groups have fully repaid their loans so far;
- Based on the project principles and adopted charter, groups’ 2-month activity was analyzed by the working team, and 29 groups were selected in the second stage;
- These 29 groups were provided with loans amounting to 58.8 million AzM of which 32.3 million AzM was repaid by the groups by March 24’ 2003;
- Members of the Community Committees provided with the loans at the end of 2002 and beginning of 2003 were involved in "Community Mobilization” and "Long-term Community Action Plan” trainings organized in UMID’s Sumgait Office.
